I'm STARVING!! My mother-in-law offered to take me out to breakfast around ten this morning, so I am waiting to eat. While I wait I am combing through the nutrition info for bob evans, and planning my order. I like to be prepared.

Feeling a little sore today after I increased all of the weights by five pounds and added ten more reps per muscle group. This is good. Sore means I'm building muscle, and I like muscle because it burns more calories while I do absolutely nothing. When I first started working out I would be so sore that I could barely function the next day. Eventually though, you build up enough muscle that the workout you were doing is now effortless. Have to switch it up. Likewise on the precor yesterday I did not sweat nearly as much as I would have liked. I don't know if maybe my water intake was low, of if I'm just getting more and more bad ass. I did forty five minutes, almost five miles and barely broke a sweet, and never even opened my mouth to breathe. I guess I have to kick that up a notch too. The burn means it's working!

Today is just an average day in the life of Yolanda. Housework, going out to breakfast, more housework then actual work that they pay me for. Nothing special, tired but I'll get over that. Now I'm going to plan out my calories for the day and get on with it. I hope this journal finds everyone well, and full of positive thoughts!

Thank you, It absolutely helps to be prepared! Grateful my mother in law gave me the heads up instead of just stopping in. I believe I have it all worked out with room to spare now! Logging my food on here before I start the day has become a ritual for me, and I attribute a lot of my success to having a plan!! I'm hoping for the teens asap!! :-)

Great job on knowing your body and having the determination to "up the ante" and challenge your self. Thanks for the ole "sore muscles" talk. I don't want to whine but I hurt so bad that I would swear that I am dying. I have never really "worked out" and everything I do kills me. Not a complaint, I know the pain is getting me to a good placee. I too like to plan ahead. It does keep us focused and on track.

Thanks guys, inspiring is the best compliment I could get! The fact that you guys say I'm inspiring inspires me to be better, to inspire you! It's a vicious cycle lol. No worries Phyllis, enjoy the soreness while it lasts, because it doesn't last long. You will be surprised at the speed with which you gain muscle and stamina. Stick with it, you'll be there in no time! Thank you Wayne, my breakfast was good. I decided on the sunshine skillet with dry toast. Fat secret has It at like 557 calories, but the bob evans website has it at 445 calories. I went with fat secrets reading because it gives me wiggle room for later if (heaven forbid) I want some bbq sauce with my pork. :-)
