Yesterday was amazing. I got to the gym for my 30 minutes of cardio. I ate within the range I gave myself. I didn't scarf down sweets. I didn't let little man feed me animal crackers. I did great. Today I'm going to do great. Tomorrow I'm going to do great. I joined the challenge Winter Metamorphis to help me keep this streak going and hopefully get back to my lowest low by Christmas. It can be my gift to myself and to hubby if he's lucky.

Today I've been up since 5am thanks to little man. Don't get me wrong. He's really happy to be up at 5am so it's hard to be upset. Plus it was a little fun watching him run from bedroom to bedroom as everyone tried to hit snooze this morning. Little man is very anti-snooze. Just as they tried to fall back asleep he was right there with his face pressed against theirs yelling HEY! HI! HEY! DAAAAAA! Then he would giggle and run to the next bedroom to do the same thing to sissy. Priceless.. and so worth enjoying while I sit on the couch drinking coffee.

Right now I'm trying to take in all the little things and be greatful for what we have and not concentrate on all the worries that I can't do anything about. Like the tenant getting her notice to move last night, hubbies truck blowing up, taxes being due in 2 weeks, having a cold for the last 3 weeks that just won't go away, picture day, the 9 yr old driving me nuts not listening, just realizing I forgot to vaccinate one of the calves last night... ok back to remembering the good things. Like having amazing friends on here to complain to and share successes like not eating my weight in chocolate.

Good for you!! My kids can always take me out of a bad mood, sometimes they can put me in one too, but more often when I'm feeling down all I need is a hug from them and things seem better.

Glad you had a great day!! Children are God's gift to the world., they can make us laugh, and turn around and make us absolute crazy with anger at not listening! One of my favorite books is " Don't sweat the small stuff....and its all small stuff" by Richard Carleson PhD. That book helped me get rid of most of my stress.Have a wonderful smile filled day!!!

I miss those moments of when my kids were little. Nothing is better than seeing the world through a child's eye. Glad you are having amazing days.
