Well, my goal now is to lose about 1 jeans size a month. Judging by my fairly slow progress so far I have no idea how realistic this is, but I bought a new pair of jeans a couple weeks ago and they're already looser...

Looser jeans! That's a huge accomplishment!! I don't need to buy new ones; just need to be able to wear the ones I already have. I can tell a difference in how some of my pants fit even with such a small loss. We have to remember slow progress is better than none at all. Did I just say that???

I like the idea of losing inches/size rather than pounds. I guess it's because I can't seem to lose any weight, lol

@Vixon: LOL yeah, I've been learning small progress is good progress as long as it is fairly steady. @Skinnygirl: My water weight varies a lot so inches appeal to me too. I'm measuring my arms and legs now since they seem to vary the least day to day.
