Had a good old girlie shop with two friends this morning. Found a really good shop selling second hand clothes, the owner is quite particular so the clothes she had in stock looked really good. I bought a lovely jacket for 8 euros (say 10$). It is a good label (Next) and can be worn with many things. Really pleased, especially as it didn't break the bank! It is now in the washer as I type. Now I know where to recycle my BIG clothes.
The other thing I bought Paula was Metamucil - I really didn't think I could get it here in Spain. Problem is though it is orange flavoured and I'm worried about carbs. The box says one dose has 1.86g of Maltodextrin http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maltodextrin. I'll log in in my diet calendar.

It looks like Metamucil costs 6g of carbs! It's put me over for today.

but for how many caplets...I think it's for 6 caplets (2 at Bkfst, 2 at lunch, 2 at dinner)...at least mine is that way. But if I took 6, I would surely never come out of the bathroom!!! When I use them, I typically take one in the AM w/ Bkfst, and then one at dinner...by the next morning...no more issues!

It's a box of 30 sachets, the powder inside is about a good teaspoonful. The box is obviously in Spanish but the link looks like the product: http://www.metamucil.com/metamucil-fiber-singles.php
This was the only Metamucil on the self, so capsules wasn't an option. If I need 3 doses for a day, this would cost 18 carbs. Maybe I should just get some ground Psyllium instead?
The website said it is made up of:
Orange Fiber Singles Ingredients
Sucrose, Psyllium Husk, Citric Acid, Natural and Artificial Orange Flavor, Yellow 6
Active Ingredient (in each serving)
Psyllium Husk, Approximately 3.4 g
Inactive Ingredients
Citric Acid, FD&C Yellow No. 6, Natural and Artificial Orange Flavor, Sucrose
Orange Sugar Free Fiber Singles Ingredients
Psyllium Husk, Maltodextrin, Citric Acid, Natural and Artificial Orange Flavor, Aspartame, Yellow 6
Active Ingredient (in each serving)
Psyllium Husk, Approximately 3.4 g
Inactive Ingredients
Aspartame, Citric Acid, FD&C Yellow No. 6, Maltodextrin, Natural and Artificial Orange Flavor
