Doing well. Under my goal of 50g of carbs a day, today I had near 60 but some days were under 20. I've basically given up sugar for good. I have to get some low carb pasta soon. Twice a year I'll be going to birthday parties for kids, one my young niece in June. And then my adult niece will have all four of her kids' big birthday party all at once (three boys and a girl) next year in August possibly - a budget buster! They'll be age one to ten next year. So there won't be a lot of parties to go overboard with the cake and ice cream - just two. There's Thanksgiving and Christmas but last year I lost weight during the holidays so I know not to go overboard eating junk for weeks on end - just to have two good sized meals and then back on Atkins and it kind of kickstarts the metabolism and if I gain too much from the two cheat meals I can always do induction for a few weeks if it is vitally necessary - so glad to have all of you on here for friends even if I'm so busy with my writing I'm not on here every single day ---:)

Yeah I plan on letting Thanksgiving and Christmas Days be my cheat days and then back on the bandwagon. I'm saving those special days for Coke, Cookies, Pie, Ice Cream, and then of course the wonderful Turkey dinner. I won't be cheating all day though, just while at the relatives. I will probably take an hour walk too in the morning on Thanksgiving and after present opening on Christmas morning.
