I have been on Fatsecret for a full year. Happy Anniversary to me. Although my year has been far from perfect this is the first time I ever followed through with monitoring my eating and boy have I learned a lot. What I realized most of allis that my biggest problem comes with SNACKING. All of my other meals through out the year are pretty much controlled. When I control my processed food consupmtion that's when I do the best. I've also learned that I really enjoy and feel better when I eat real foods. Foods that use to be considered diet food are now some of my favorites. I now just lookat it as good food. Now that I am begining a new year I want to focus on controlling my snacking. It's going to be hard. Since my start on fat secret I've maintained almost a 6lb weight loss. It may not seem like much so I will see where I am next year. Since I started the Pounds Falling off challenge I've lost 6.6. That leaves 13.4lbs to reach my goal. Once I get back on the 22nd I will do my best to complete my challenge. Even if I do not lose all of the weight I will make as much progress as I can before September 1st. This year I will incorporate some kind of deliberate exercise in my life. I was suppose to join Planet Fitness but it's out of my way and I did not like the fine print behind their $10 add. Fitness Evolution in my area for $10 members really is $159.00 to start then $10 per month. Somuch for $10 down $10 per month, No kidding No contracts. Sounds great until you read the contract. Looking forward to a new year. What an eye opener Fatsecret has been for me in helping me to see and understand what goes into my mouth. It's the nutritional value of the food you eat not necessarialy how much you eat. I've found I can eat a big piece of fish with a large home made salad and bearly reach 400 calories while 2 little cookies can steal 180 calories or more and I'm still not satisfied. Crazy but true. Still got a lot of work to do but improvement is worth it.

Congratulations on your one year commitment. I have found the diet calendar to be so helpful too. I have a better idea of portion sizes and now know how many calories are in those cookies that I love. Good luck, you're on your way to reaching you goal.
