AGAIn at 217 what is up with me? I am ready to fall off the bus. I am trying to make a lifestyle of this but a whole week and no improvement? I have absolutely no Idea what I am doing wrong. I was so successful with atkins when I had my daughter. Last night I went home exercised. I didnt really eat dinner but a locarb bar because it was so late me getting home. I am extremely dissapointed in myself. I wan to be in a size 10 again. How long is it going to take me to get out of these DARN 200's???? I am losing my mind.

Hard to say what's happening when you're not logging everything every day, but I'd certainly recheck your protein. If memory serves, I believe you need upwards of 70g protein each day, depending on your height. If you're not eating enough protein, your lean muscle mass is not being maintained. Lose muscle mass and you're losing some of your ability to burn fat. Try to get back to logging ALL your food and I'm sure you'll get some more ideas. I'd say you're also eating too little and perhaps, not spacing out your carbs and calories throughout the day. Boring ol' consistency is the key. Also see if anything changed after mid-July, early August, when you were on a roll losing weight. You've already lost over 30 poiunds, so I've no doubt you'll find a way to lose the rest and get out of the 200's. You can do this!

I have to agree with Sandy. We can't say what the problem is since you aren't recording all of your foods. One thing I did see in your journal is the fact that you actually skipped a meal (dinner last night) and replaced it with an Atkins bar. This could very well be what is preventing you from losing.

i agree with both of them, and 1-2 lbs a week is normal and what we should expect. It wont happen all the time, but the food log is your key to see what might be going wrong. They also say that those who have done atkins before lose slower on the second, third try
