I didn't get a workout in this morning, I was hoping to do abs and yoga, but I could not wake up. My doctor increased the dose of my meds and I'm pretty sure that's why I feel like a zombie today. I may be able to do the workout or at least some gardening after my son's game tonight, it will just depend on how tired I am. Hopefully if I take the meds earlier tonight I won't be so tired tomorrow. If I can keep my eating in check while I'm figuring the meds out it shouldn't put me too far behind.

Last night my daughter's team got their butts kicked at their game, but she played her heart out. Her coaches picked her to go the All-Star game too, because of how hard she tries and how much she's developed through the season. I'm so proud of her!! She's so excited to have been picked to be an All-Star. I hope this makes her want to play next year.

Also, last night we took the kids to DQ because of how well my daughter did at the game and to celebrate her All-Star status. I got a small chocolate cone thinking it wouldn't do as much damage to my calories for the day. Well, my son ended up dropping his blizzard on the ground, the whole thing; I had only taken about 5 licks of my ice cream by then, so I gave the rest to him. I think someone was trying to tell me I didn't need that cone. ;)

No workout for me this am either, but I'm delivering Avon tonight, so I know I will be doing a lot of walking. How great for your daughter!! Woo Hoo! I had a similar DQ experience a couple weeks ago, my son wanted a drink and no ice cream, then asked for a bite of my hot fudge sundae to see if he liked it. He did and finished it off. I had 2 bites. Sometimes there is someone out there watching out for us :)

That's great! I am sure your daughter is really excited. It is nice to see children rewarded for trying their hardest and at the same time being good sports. I hope you have a wonderful time at the All Star Game. And as for the ice cream, that's food for thought! Pun intended Lol! Have a great day!
