Half a pound to 40!!!!! and only 5 lbs to my first number being a "1" in somewhere between 25 and 30 YEARS! Going to really push it this week, and see if I can't make that happen. I'm about a half inch away from getting my size 12 Ralph Lauren (probably knock-offs lol) button - would love to see that happen in the very near future too!

I love free stuff!! there's a page on Facebook for "Wanted, For Sale and Free" for our county - I'm sure there's pages like that all over the place - Anyway, I saw a post yesterday for a leather couch...FREE!! It now sits in our livingroom, and the couch we had is posted on the page lol. I think I'm going to put it on craigslist, too. Need it gone, since it's sitting in the middle of the room :P Extra bonus...when I cleaned out between the cushions (omg what a PIT!) I even found 55 cents...Score!

I get to call the local Police today - hubby lost his wallet a week ago, so had to call and cancel the bank card and the Home Depot card. We did find his license, State employee ID card and a couple other things along side the onramp to Interstate 5, which makes us think that someone saw him set the wallet on the gas pump, and forget it when he left the station...instead of turning it in, they went thru it and tossed a few things out the window on their way to the Highway - the only way his state id would have come out is to be TAKEN out, because of where it was in the wallet...Anyway, we got a letter in the mail Saturday from the PD, saying his wallet had been turned in. I'm very interested to see what's left inside it, and WHERE it was found! Makes a person wonder........

Happy Monday all!!

that's exactly how I had it this morning lol - Made hubby a spam sandwich for his lunch, so before I put it away, tossed a couple slices in the pan. Good stuff :) Haven't seen you on here in a while - glad you're back!

Thank you so much for saying that, it truly means a lot. I had...err...some "issues" with a few members here regarding a comparison between Atkins way of eating and low calorie/low fat way of eating. I ended up getting...well...let's just say several not-so-nice private messages from them and decided to leave the site for a while because of it. Very discouraging. Came back when I was able to be strong enough to say to myself that life's too short to give anyone the power to hurt me over the internet...especially when in comes to my personal weight loss journet...

You know, people can be idiots, don't pay any attention to them! all of the people I've met on here (so far) have been wonderful, so if someone decided to turn into a jerk, you just "un-buddy" them, and stick with us good ones! lol Hang in there kid! Sue

Congrats!!! You are doing so great!!! Would you believe I got within 3 pounds of Onederland the last time I lost so much weight and decided to take a break over the Holidays and never got to see it?!?! How crazy was I? When I get there it will be at least 9 years since I have saw under 200 on the scale. Speaking of wallets here's a funny/odd story. I used to work in building maintenance and there was a purse thief in the building. He... rather She would go in the office and if no one was at the front desk snatch the purse under the desk. It had happened to multiple people in the same building so they had to work in one of the offices. Anyways.... One day our maintenance engineer had to work on the a/c system and when he was doing this he found all the purses. They were going into the womens bathroom, standing on the toilet and lifting a ceiling tile and putting the purses up there. After removing any cash or valuables of course. The good news is that the people got back some of their stuff, pictures etc. You just never know about people. I always tell my co-workers to put their purse in their drawer and lock it if they can.

Go go girl! So glad to see you doing so well! Isn't it sad that some people feel that they can be hurtful towards others? In both cases here, whether it be the misplaced wallet or the diet choice, others seem to think it is ok to overstep their boundaries. It is not ok to take what is not yours. It is not ok to tell others what is right for them. How simple is that?
