Went to the DAV yesterday and had 3 drinks... [I know I shouldn't have, but some friends were there that I haven't seen in a long time, and they kept buying me drinks, and well, you know how it goes...] LOL

I'll probably pay for it at the scale on Sunday... but that's okay, because we've got to learn to look at the 'big picture' of things, and not beat ourselves up over each and every morsel that passes through our lips.

I think we have to actively work on changing one thing at a time [then 'coast' for a while and let that thing 'sink in' and become second nature to us]

What matters is the LONG TERM results! [and the sooner we acclimate ourselves to the maintenance of the changes we're making, the better off we'll be...] In my research regarding the binge eating it talks a lot about 'mindful eating' [Which is picking and choosing what, where, and when we eat, with our left brain and not relying simply on our emotions or habits to tell us what to do...] As long as we even things out during the week, it'll be fine...
