I finally got my order in from Amazon today. I ordered a magic bullet blender and a vegetable spiralizer. After my KFC fiasco at lunch, I wanted to eat something healthy that would satisfy me to get that ravaged beast out of my system. I had watched this great YouTube video on making fresh zucchini spirals for noodles and a super fresh pine nut and basil pesto. I spiraled my noodles. Tossed some cut mushrooms and cherry tomatoes in soy sauce and pepper and popped those in the dehydrator for 30 minutes to give the feeling of saute (helps shrink them up and condense the flavors without cooking). Blended up olive oil, pine nuts, sundried tomatoes, fresh ground pepper, and salt. Ran hot water over my vegetable noodles to heat them up, poured on my pesto, and topped with my wilted & warmed tomatoes and mushrooms. I devoured the whole thing! It was seriously the best meal I've had in weeks of raw eating. It felt naughty, it felt salty, and greasy, and cheesy (yes, strangely it tasted like I dumped Parmesan on it). I felt like I was eating a delicious bowl of sinful pasta. Then I had dessert! A raw chocolate mousse made with sunflower milk, agave, raw organic cocoa powder and nibs, organic coconut oil, and psyllium husk to thicken it. And I still haven't met my calories for today...even after my KFC attack. So, now I feel better. Like you all have said, don't let it get me down, don't get hung up on one downfall, and get back up and keep going. Thanks, I couldn't do it without the venting I do on here, and all the advice and feedback I get from you all.
