Next week I have to go to a fancy dinner-dance. I tried on everything in my closet and there is only one dress I can zip. I either lose the rest of the weight or I have to buy new clothes and I actually hate to shop.

Went to the doctor today. I received an analysis of my body composition:
Weight: 139 -
Fat % 29% - (ideal range is 23-33%)
Fat mass: 41 lbs. - (ideal is 29-50 lbs.)
Muscle mass: 93 lbs. -
Metabolic age: 44 - (I am 59)
Visceral fat rating: 7 -
BMI: 24 -

Ideal body weight: 128 lbs. - Degree of obesity: 9% -

10 pounds to go. In the meantime I need creative wardrobing....

Glen, I put the numbers on here because I figured it was good for my "accountability" which I need or I fall off the wagon. It's a relief to be truthful, but hard because food for me is an addiction and covering up is part of the "disease." Thanks for the encouragement - and your own honesty which has inspired me.
