Okay, I know this can't be right. Somehow I lost 2lbs overnight. It can't be my clothes since I only get on the scale butter ball naked. Don't even know why I got on the scale this morning.( I try to weigh in biweekly, except these past couple weeks, in which I've been doing it weekly cause of my current challenge.)since its gotta be some kind of fluke right? I haven't been doing anything special... I'm not gonna log it in until I weigh in again next week.

I generally weigh myself a few times a day, the scale is right by the toilet, and I get curious. I fluctuate by 2-3 lbs over the course of the day based on how much I've ingested/sweated/excreted by other means. One liter of water is 2.2 lbs, so given I drink 3-4 liters a day, that's about 11 lbs a day going in and out. My weight is always lowest first thing in the morning, so I use that for my daily weigh-ins. If you always weigh at the same time every day, you'll get a better feel for the trend when weighing daily, but most people prefer to wait 1-2 weeks when a real change in the amount of fat carried will show through the daily wobbles. Good luck!

Urk. Bad math geek. That should be 8-9 lbs for the water, not 11.

Yeah, I usually weigh in the morning after using the bathroom. I drink alot of water, mostly cause I don't like anything else.... I never thought about the poundss of it that may be going and coming out before. lol Thank you!

My weight is always 2 lb heavier at night than in the morning. It seems quite normal to me.

I guess I don't notice things like that since I usually only weigh myself twice a month.

Your weight will fluctuate within a few pounds from day to day. It's normal. I weigh myself every day at the same time just to get an overall feel for how much weight I'm losing over the course of the week/month/whatever. If you're down 2 lbs today, you might be up 1.5 tomorrow. Doesn't mean you've burned 2 lbs of fat and then gained another 1.5 lbs of fat. It's mostly just water.
