Everyday I start my diet over again. Its a mental thing for me. There is always a hurdle I have to overcome, today I have to work overnight, the problem is eating healthy when I'm at work tired and trying to stay awake. This has been a major problem for me, usually when I'm not working I can do fairly well with my diet program, but when I'm at work it all goes out the window. So my goai today is to force myself to pack a healthy snacks, and eat only what I bring with me, nothing else. The problem is people bring all kinds of pastries to work, so hard to pass it up. But I'm challenging myself today, pass it up. To everyone else, stay positive, stay focused!

I used to work nights, and you are right - they can be rough. I found out, though, that there is a magic potion that WILL keep you awake longer, and that can help you from having to snack just to stay awake. It's called WATER! :) Yup, forget the coffee. Well, have some, but what your body is really asking for is fuel for the engines. Sure, you can feed it sugar, but you don't have to. Get rid of the sugar. Drink water. It works.

Good Morning Keld, I took your advice last night and took 1.5L of water to work, along with my healthy lunch and snacks. Problem is my coworker, who always brings everyone snacks, surprised me with my favorite bag of chips. Yes I ate the chips and the crackers, but the good thing is, I drank more water than I usually do during the night. So tonight I'm taking another 1.5L bottle to work, and try it again, without the chips and crackers. Its a great way to get my water in. Thanks again for the advice.
