Densible's Journal, 31 July 2008

I weigh less today and so excited and scared. MAybe this Phase 1 thing is working? I also zig sagged from 675 cals to 1100 and next day dropped two lbs. I weighed myself twice and it was the same both times. Cannot record it until tomorrow. I feel the ambivalence that always comes when I start making progress. I am thinking of chocolate and pasta and frozen yogurt!!!!! I need an exorcism!!

Hey you!-it's so nice to hear from you. I know it's probably PMS talking but I recognize this pattern and I have to do something different. You know the definition of insanity? Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.....Well I ain't crazy yet so have to deal.

Im so glad to hear the zig-zagging seems to be working for you. Darn, I wish I could get a low cal day in. 675 cals.. I know its possible but I never seem to be able to manage those kind of days. Good for you!

The weird thing is I was on a consistent pattern of 1100-1300 cal days and then as soon as started SB Phase 1 cals went down down down. I think I was getting the hang of it and avoided a lot of stuff from an abundance of caution. I didn't have to try to get up to 1100 so I expect 675 is an anomaly plus it's probably not good for us... Thank you J -your example encouraged me to try something new and it it working better than I ever imagined so thank you!!!
