Diabetic Dianne's Journal, 09 April 2013

Yesterday I managed to drink more water, exercise more, and eat better. I am well on my way to becoming half the person i used to be..lol This is a lot of hard work and I find myself craving everything I cannot have. This diabetes thing sucks lemons. I commit to being stronger than my desires today, and resolve to have a low fat smoothy to help combat the sugar cravings. Maybe with a little sugar twin or splenda, it will taste more like a sugar treat!!

Hang in there... It will be well worth it! I boil some ginger in water, and add a slice of lemon and cayenne pepper (tea) and add agave (low glycemic organic sweetner) it helps with my sweet cravings

I agree hang in there. Every new change has obstacles. I admire your resolve. I need some of that today.

Kathy, I am sending resolve your way.. Hope it helps!. Thanks Felicia, I will try to get that but I havent seen any agave at my local supermarket. Do you know if it is available in Canada?

Oh Dianne sorry I'm not to sure about that. Do you have any whole foods near you, they should have it there.
