TWO THUMBS UP for me today! =D I decided to try something different in place of a latte. While home for lunch I kept thinking that a latte sounded like a good idea to get on the way back to work. But then I reminded myself that if I did get one, 1) It wouldn't REALLY give me any satisfaction once I drank it, 2) It wouldn't really 'wake me up', but most likely give me a sugar crash instead. SO! I had a light light bulb moment. I decided to swing by our local health food store, which is on the way back to work in a round about way, and check out their freshly made drinks. I told the girl I was looking for a drink that would help my brain wake up. She suggested a shot of wheatgrass. So, I tried it. Oddly, it didn't taste too bad. I'm still waiting to see if I 'feel' any different from it. Although, I have noticed I'm not feeling sluggish and sleepy like I did before I went to lunch. Anyway, just felt proud of myself for thinking of an alternative since I struggle often with latte cravings.
