Good morning. I just went in the kitchen to make my coffee and thought, what are the kids having for dinner? Well, the plan for them is pizza and hot wings. My plan is fish and spinach salad. I am not going to lie to myself and say that I'm going to be happy eating spinach and fish while the smell of pizza and chicken wings is in the air. Yeah, I know... discipline, self control. Right, well that's not going to happen. I'm just being honest. So, my plan is to keep my calories super low all day so that tonight I can have one slice of pizza and two hot wings. Maybe not perfect, but that's my plan.

On another note, I'm thinking of taking the calorie intake down to 1,000. I'm usually between 1200 and 1500, Maybe it's working. I'm not really sure, but I know how stubborn my body is. I just want to make sure I'm getting results, as long as it's safe. So, what do you think? Is 1000 calories a day too low? My fiancé has urged me not to do it. He's afraid that it's not healthy, but I think it's fine.


... I just read online that 1000 calories is too low for my body to continuously burn fat, so maybe 1200. I just want to know how low I can go and still be healthy.

I wouldn't go below 1200, I have never heard anything good about going that low. I think your plan of "saving up" calories for later in the day is a sound one, and also eat that spinach salad with your pizza and wings, eat sloooowwwllllyyyy, really taste and savor each bite and alternate bites of the wings and pizza with bites of the salad and sips of water. You'll be full and you'll be happy. I think making small changes like that will work better for you in the long run. I know you're wanting to get into that dress and I really do think you can do it-my weight is up again right now but my clothes are still just as baggy as they were at my "low" weigh a couple of weeks ago. Also-NEVER underestimate the slimming power of good underwear! LOL! Get yourself a Spanx bodysuit-I have one and it works wonders, usually takes at least a couple of inches off the waist and hips. Just be really careful if you have long nails, you can punch right through the fabric, especially if you go too small-the measurements on the packaging are absolutely spot on accurate and if you go too small it'll take you 45 minutes to squiggle into the thing!

lol ok thanks. Really good suggestions. I will definitely eat the salad with dinner. I hadn't thought of that.
