The candy fan's Journal, 28 March 2013

Ok I already did the blood type thing and apparently being a type o - means meat, meat and protein, looking at the chart it seems I did stick close to the 1000 calories I am allowed but diet consists of mostly fat and carbs like the suggestion was in my case perhaps the weight only staying at this number could be insufficient protein, normally have a protein shake going in the office but now working from home, chances to eat something wrong, people say restrictions are bad but they are the right weight. I am afraid to look at the scale the 168 number came in at the drs.office this Monday. Like work out last night only a half hour since seeing the weigh in its harder to work out for the usual 1.3 hrs it was a month of many days now. Back to work girls if you need me I am here!

Protein powder is an excellent idea to increase protein but not calories. When I have a protein shake I like mixing it with almond milk it's low in calories, but not as plain as water. :) Cottage cheese and Greek yogurt are some other great sources of protein if you are not a meat eater. Don't get discouraged, you can do it!!

It tastes terrible so today put it in the blender a lot of ice a scant about of coconut and almond milk a few drops of flavored stevia and it was great.

That stinks about the flavor! I buy my powder online through amazon; it's Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard 100% Whey - Double Rich Chocolate and I love the taste! It's amazing when you blend it with a frozen banana, it's like soft serve ice cream. Add some peanut butter and it's heavenly! But also high in calories... but the good ones. ;P

I like the unflavored Designer whey too it I used to add crystal light mango peach, ice, and a splash of coconut/almond milk. It tasted really good but didn't have the protein will check Optimum nutrition out too I always ask what I have was on sale . So far so good today might go for a run tonight still hard acclimating to day time hours to work out.
