Elderly guy crashed his truck right at the entrance to my office today. He hit a large tree just outside the door. It shook the whole building. I saw him struggling to breathe in the front seat while a passerby attended to him. The fire/police/ambulance arrived right away because the accident was directly across the street from city hall. It made me think about my mortality. I watched the guy struggle to breathe. It scared me because I'm terrified of age-related illness. I've made a lot of mistakes concerning my health over the years and I wonder what sort of damage I have done that I don't even know about. TODAY - I am committing myself to a better diet, better nutrition, better cooking skills, better meals, better balance, better health, better, better, better...
