Made it to the gym Monday evening and spent a half hour on the treadmill. Didn't make it yesterday--went to the hospital to visit my friend's little girl. She broke her knee and got a staph infection. They had to admit her and put her on IV antibiotics. Thankfully, she is doing much better today and will hopefully go home tomorrow.
I was back at the gym and on the treadmill this morning, wanting to go back this evening. It is such a stress reliever for me, and that's what I need right now!! Is it okay if I worked out this morning, and then work out tonight and tomorrow morning too? I don't want to overdo it, but I'm really enjoying it!
Have been trying to watch my eating, but the Chinese was calling my name, and I listened today. However, I promise to be extra good tonight! Meat and veggies only for supper tonight! Been slacking on my water, but I promise to get that back up too!
I wish I was one of those people who eats less when I'm stressed. That's what is making this so hard. Considering what all I WANT to eat, I'm actually doing really good! I've just got to keep fighting the cravings and I should see more improvement, if I keep up the exercise too!

There's no problem with working out tonight and in the morning, I'm assuming your doing mostly cardio, if you do serious strength reading you should always give your body a day in between to repair the muscle, which helps too builds more mass. I would worry more about going to hard core all at once then getting burnt out, so I would be careful about that!

I've mostly been either walking the track or the treadmill. I did one abs class, and then hurt for a week afterwards. Not willing to try that again anytime soon. I try to remember to wear my weights when I walk to help add some resistance. Just being able to walk, listen to music, and tune out the world is so calming!

Do the exercise! If you feel good doing it and you're body isn't yelling at you to stop, keep at it. It sounds like it's doing some good for you emotionally to help keep the stress at bay, so just another bonus. Keep up the good work!!

Great job, Holly, on the treadmill workouts. You make me want to go hit the treadmill now. I so know what you mean about the people who react to stress by not eating. Could you imagine? We'd be twigs! Haha. You're doing great. Keep up the good work and the smart decisions.
