Hedder52's Journal, 08 October 2007

Well another weekend gone....man they go way too fast! Things are still going ok, still kicking myself for not going to the gym, but oh well when I am really ready it will happen! October 11th is coming so fast and I don't think I will get to my goal, but just like getting back to the gym it will happen! I played 4 games of ball on Saturday, not as much as I have been, but it was great exercise!

The depression is starting to set in again....this month is crazy for birthday celebrations in my family. We had 6, mom, dad, 2 brother's, nephew and niece, now only 5 since Kaylynn passed, so last night was the first time we have been together as a family since she passed away and boy was that hard...we did good, but you could feel the missing link. This Thursday would be her birthday so we are going to get together and plant a rose bush at my brothers house in her honor...that is going to be killer, but at least we are all going to be together.

So needless to say, I am so not in the mood for dieting or exercise, but I am pushing myself, my hubby is actually going to make up a batch of rice and veggies tonight so that I have something to eat that is on the diet and easy to heat up for lunch and stuff. I am going to try to push myself to go to the gym, but I do have 4 night of softball and volleyball so that will help a lot!

Hope you all had a great weekend and for those of you in my support group, pray that my family makes it though Thursday night! :-)

I will definitely keep you in my prayers!! I know you miss your niece, and I think it's great that you're going to plant a rose bush in her honor.

The rose bush is such a great idea, like I said before I wish there were words that I could say to help with the pain, so here's the next best thing ***HUGS*** to you and your family and I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I stumbled onto your bio on accident. I have been doing the Fat Smash Diet for 9 days today & it is going great. I'm so glad that I read your bio, it's very inspirational to hear how successful you have been, especially since I'm just beginning. I have lost 5 lbs & I have 35 more to go. Good luck & what a beautiful idea to plant a rose bush in your niece's memory. I'll keep your family in my thoughts!! P.S. My birthday is Thursday Oct. 11 also.
