I still have an injured ankle and it is so frustrating. I still am walking with a limp after 4 days and have some soreness. The biggest mystery of all is how I did this to my ankle - I was fine last Thursday, worked out, and woke up on Friday morning with a sore ankle and a limp. Saturday was worse, the pain was definitely worse. Sunday was a little better, and yesterday was about the same as Sunday. Today was a little better than yesterday, but not much. I am still limping around. What all of this means - I can't work out! I love doing the elliptical trainer, going to yoga, and now I can't do these things until my ankle heals! I have a work commitment tomorrow, but I guess I will try to go swimming on Thursday - I don't think swimming will hurt my ankle. I just hate it though - all the clothes changing, how they keep the pool super cold, hoping to get my own lane. And all the crap I have to bring - swimsuit, earplugs, goggles, shampoo, conditioner, swim hat. Then having to shower afterwards and then change my damn clothes again. I hate it! When I work out on the elliptical, I have my ipod and I just come in my gym clothes, get my workout done and then leave - it's so simple! Ankle, please heal. I really need to get back into the groove of things!
