I went out an saw my friend's band after work, which is okay, but I am not a fan of all acoustic music. I was actually thankful for my ankle injury and my splint, because I got to turn down dancing with a drunk guy and not be a bitch about it. I sat in the bar and sucked down diet cokes - I have given up alcohol while dieting, it's just liquid calories that I don't need. I am doing pretty good when I go out - I am just sticking to diet soda and so far I've only had to do one jello shot not to be rude. I took my measurements today, and it was hard! My tape measure only goes up to 40, so I had to get another one. I can't believe I'm this size - I've been fooling myself for a long time now. I've lost 11 pounds so far. 89 more to go. I am really committed to this thing - when I was on a diet years ago I got down to 155 and I wore a size 10. I thought I did pretty well, and I thought I looked pretty good, but I was still overweight. I don't want to stop and give up after I've lost a few pounds - I am really in it to win it. I came to get down! The smallest my waist ever was was 25 inches. I want to get back to that. I want to be the same size I was in high school. Just for the hell of it. Just to see if I can do it.
