Just a quick note. Finally feeling better, but the kids have been sick this week, completely thrown me off track. Have missed work so haven't been able to record and also haven't been to gym all week.
We had our Wellness Kick-off today, and started an employee weightloss contest. We each contributed $5 to join and the proceeds are going towards the local Heart 5K for Congenital Heart Disease. One of our members has a child with CHD and is putting together a team so we can all participate in the 5K in June. I've never done a 5K before so I'm kinda nervous, but hopefully 3 months will give me plenty of time to train for it!
Gonna try to be on here longer tomorrow to catch up on journals. Hope everyone's having great success this week! :)

Hope the munchkins are better soon! As for the 5k, if you can (not sure your location on the map), start walking out in your 'hood. Hubby and I regularly do 3 miles around ours, so in essence, we're basically doing a 5k at home. Pull up your streets on google maps and find the best route, then mix it up... Great way to explore the burbs, too! Good luck!
