chinaeure's Journal, 21 February 2013

I have finally gotten sick & tired of being overweight & my blood pressure being through the roof. On Sunday, February 10th I was watching this documentary on Netflix called Hungry For Change. It was amazing. It tells you about all the chemicals the food industry is putting in our food. They several people on there talking about how they were severely overweight & very sick & how they started juicing fresh veggies & fruits. They told how they lost the weight & how their health improved. So I researched juicers & I went out & bought one. I started juicing that night. At first it was a little weird but it tasted great & my body was craving it. Then I started adding juice into my diet each day. I would juice veggies in the morning have fruit juice with lunch & juiced veggies for dinner. I then came across another documentary called Fat, Sick, & Nearly Dead. It was great. It showed how one man juiced for 60 days & how he became really healthy, got off of the 12 medications he was taking & lost 91 pounds. I came across his website rebootwithjoe.com & started reading all the information. Well on Sunday, February 17th i started my 30 day juice fast. Today I am on day 5. I feel great. I have lost 10 pounds so far & my blood pressure is down 30 points before I take my medication. I don't miss food. My skin is clearing up & I have so much energy I don't know what to do with myself. I recommend juicing. I'm not saying that you have to do a juice fast but try & incorporate it into your diet. The best thing about juicing is there is no limit to how much juice you can have. They say that you need to juice 80% veggies & 20% fruit. I can only get through 4 12ounces cups of juice a day. I have also lost my sweet tooth. I loved sweets but sweets didn't love me & now you can put a tray of sweets in front of me & they are not interesting to me. I encourage anybody to add this to their daily lifestyle.
