Life is good. We just had my youngest foster daughter and her 2 children for 5 days. It was exhausting but so much fun. We took them to the train station on Monday morning so they could head home and the train was delayed because of a mudslide so she stayed another day. Kind of a funny answer to prayer, I thought!

I was down on my steps/exercise while the kids were here and I did not track my food but my weight didn't go up so I am satisfied. Today, I am back to tracking, however.

Yesterday I stood up and felt a pop in my right knee. It is sore again today but I believe I can still do my 3 miles on it. Hopefully, it won't irritate whatever little issue I am having in there.I've already gotten over 100 miles of walking in since the first of the year so I am on task to finish 600 before the end of the year. Actuall, I am doing so well, I might change my goal to 900 miles.

I'm thankful for my fosterdaughter and her children. I love this relationship with her that has lasted many years and many hardships. She is a lovely young woman with a bright future. Glad to watch her mature.
I'm thankful that I didn't shoot my diet all to pieces when they came to visit. This lifestyle change is getting easier- even on days when I don't keep track.
I'm thankful that the days are getting longer and spring is right around the corner.

Sounds like your life is all falling into place, so nice to hear someone that is happy. The lifestyle gets easier I think as we go, we just have to keep it that way. You have a great day and I'm with you on hoping spring is right around the corner, I can't wait!
