Went on a trip this past weekend, and after being awake for over 24 hours and being in an airport at an ungodly hour (and that was just the very start of my travel day), I decided that since I had been doing so very well on this low carb diet I could have a weekend of relaxed eating.

So I was conscious of how many carbs I was consuming, and was careful not to eat unless I was hungry, and there was only one time when I went nuts with a chocolate bar (but I really noticed how it wasn't worth the carbs at all, it was too much all at one time.. and by halfway through the bar I didn't even want to finish it). So all in all, I'm comfortable with my little holiday and ready to get back on track.

Unfortunately I made the kids pancakes last night and decided to have eggs for supper, which left me with no eggs for breakfast this morning. But a fast is not a bad way to start, and I'm feeling pretty good so far, in spite of only having a coffee today.
