I had a really good day yesterday. I enjoyed my morning Zumba class, had time to go home to change clothes & eat a Kind bar before physical therapy. While driving there (still hungry) I got a call asking me to come in at 12:30 instead of noon, so I stopped at whole foods & bought a bag of Kale Joy mesquite kale chips with chia, pretty good!

PT was eye-opening. My pelvis was twisted & lower/mid-back torqued, with terribly tight muscles. She straightened all that out, then worked on my legs; my tibial heads were locked up & more tight muscles. So, all of it could be coming from the back, even the impingement in my left shoulder. Having that all figured out & worked out was a huge relief.

I was able to have a great time at the Zumba ladies night out party; danced well and bought two new shirts! I went home and did all my stretches, then my partner took me to dinner at Chevy's.

Now I'm lying in bed, unable to sleep since 5am due to an upset stomach from dinner and aching from the PT ; she warned me that I would be sore. I caved a little while ago and took a pain pill.

I still feel happy and hopeful that my PT is figuring out how to fix what's causing my pain, or at least ways to work
around it so I can continue enjoying my new active lifestyle.
