Had a paper towel catch literally on fire last night as I was microwaving a hot dog on a paper towel. Freaked me out. Closed the door and the fire extinguished itself. So now in the market for a new microwave...but not rushing it. Want to see how long it will take for us to miss it. Didn't have to wait long...this morning started to get a Lean Pocket out for breakfast, and then thought..."oh yeah." Had cereal instead.

Today we take the youth group on the winter trip. The high currently is 7 degrees. The low - negative 9 tonight. CRAZY!!!

Last night (after the fire) - I baked shortbread cookies, and cleaned up our kitchen area (which was in dire need). Went to bed I think around 2am, could have been later. Slept hard. Will be a long day today and come to think if it, it's a working weekend. Will need to be up probably around 4am dressed and ready to start cooking the casseroles that we are pre-making tonight. Slopes open at 9am and we plan to have them there by 8am to get their equipment. I'm hoping a nap is in my future tomorrow....either at the rental house or in the ski lounge area. I won't be choosy.

Today, I'm just HUNGRY. I think it's due to little to no rest. Too much on my mind, and did I mention 12 teenagers on a overnight trip? LOL. Prayers are appreciated....

I'll be praying for you. I can't imagine dealing with 12 teenagers, 2 pre-teens is hard enough, and they're mine. I hope the microwave test goes well for you. I'd have sent my hubby out to buy one this morning. :) Try to get some rest this weekend!
