Just two days keeping track of what I am eating and it is amazing how fast the calories add up. It does not feel like I am eating so much, but before I even get to dinner I have eaten almost all of my calories for the day. Before my hungriest part of the day. Then I eat and eat and eat... I've got to take control of the eating to have any chance of success.

It's what your eating, not how much. I'm not sure I should be giving advice since I lost then fell off the wagon and gained. BUT you can eat alot of food and not be hungry if you choose lower calorie foods. Lean meats, fruits, veggies and you can eat almost all day lol.

Oh yeah. I try to stay between 1400 and 1500; but it took a while to find out what's healthy and low calorie. Keeps me busy checking foods and recipes and the net. But not getting too hungry is very tough at first. Hang in there. If you want it bad enough, you can do it!

Thank for the advice! I will be trying to make lower calorie substitutions (like adding some greens :) I think it will make a noticeable difference.
