I always have this overwhelming urge to create. Whether its something upstairs in my sewing room or something downstairs in my kitchen. I love the homey atmosphere that creativity brings out. Today I made 2 batches of cookies- don't worry. They won't tempt me, and the house just has such a wonderful scent to it.
Now I am heading upstairs to sew. I feel so blessed to be in a warm cozy house when the weather is so chilly. It makes me feel secure and comfortable- wonderful feelings to focus on when some days at work can be so chaotic.
Focusing on the moment and savoring the feeling really helps me stay in tune with what my goal is. I thank God for these peaceful times of rest, relaxation and rejuvination.
Life is good.
