Been obsessing over watermelon this week. I could eat it all day. I never buy seedless due to loss of flavor and it being so highly hybridized. If you cut it right you can easily scoop of most of the seeds! (The seeds are good for you I just don’t like them) For anyone avoiding fruit because of the sugar just remember that fructose (fruit sugar) is much slower to be absorbed so it doesn’t affect blood sugar levels like glucose does. Table sugar (glucose + fructose) is processed and overwhelms the body and is what will affect your blood sugar and insulin resistance. Fruits also has fiber, antioxidants, minerals, vitamins and 5 essential nutrients that your body will love! Don’t skip the fruit 🍉
