Getting very discouraged with my weight and now I can't seem to get my blood sugar down and under control. The consequences of that really scares me. I've got to do something. I'm hoping to start my weight loss again. It's been over a year since I lost 30 pounds. Hopefully, being a new year may give me some incentive to try this again.

Those chewy bars are full of sugar. You better off eating a bowl of oatmeal. Also, starting your morning with protein is also good. A little protein with each meal tends to help balance out blood sugar levels. Get in your lean proteins, lean dairy, fruits and veggies. A cheese stick with an apple or orange (any fruit) is great. Hummus and veggies, yogurt and fruit, etc. Google foods that can help keep your blood sugars under control. Being proactive about your health is so important. Exercise might also help. So if you don't and can, start. You have to find your motivation. Do whatever it takes. Good luck!
