Sherillynn's Journal, 06 January 2013

I hereby decree that 2013 will henceforth be known as "The Year Wihout Potatoes!"
Stamped with my seal of approval. Signed, Queen Sherill

If only the rest of my kingdom could follow my decrees. I really meant for the world to revolve around my dieting needs but I am thinking the hubster isn't going to like the idea of being potato free. How long do you think it will take him to notice we are in the midst of a potato famine at our house? Anyone want to make a friendly wager?

I feel a lot better than yesterday with my little virus but I did stay home from work again today. Today's big project is to tackle a beef brisket. I've found several recipes. Most call for marinade and slow cooking so potentially it won't be ready until tomorrow. I've got some nice farm raised lamb chops as a backup.

I am so thankful for the support on this site. I appreciate the comments and tips that people leave. There's always more than one way to accomplish a goal and I think sometimes I have blinders on or its force of habit. To those of you that give me eye opening advice- my deepest gratitude.

Keep on pushing. We CAN do this together!
