So today is the fifth day of keto and I have been doing well with it. We have spent the last 12 days at a campground and we leave in the morning after I get off work. Will get to do a weigh in on Saturday to see what the diet has done for me thus far. Discovered 2 gm of carbs in a piece of chewing gum! I chew a lot of gum; always have--well, darn! It's still a lot less than a cookie and I love something sweet after I eat my meal. I've found I'm eating a lot less food on the keto diet. Don't seem to get hungry as often either. I have been more diligent on getting my 10,000 steps in as well. Hoping to see some payback on Saturday.
