Donna Mashburn's Journal, 03 May 2019

So today is the fifth day of keto and I have been doing well with it. We have spent the last 12 days at a campground and we leave in the morning after I get off work. Will get to do a weigh in on Saturday to see what the diet has done for me thus far. Discovered 2 gm of carbs in a piece of chewing gum! I chew a lot of gum; always have--well, darn! It's still a lot less than a cookie and I love something sweet after I eat my meal. I've found I'm eating a lot less food on the keto diet. Don't seem to get hungry as often either. I have been more diligent on getting my 10,000 steps in as well. Hoping to see some payback on Saturday.

Good work Donna. Eating less food in one of the benefits we see once ketosis sets in. And yeah watch those sugar carbs in small things... it can easily build up. Good job!!!
