It really helps to record and make an accounting for what I eat each day. Like yesterday, even though my husband and I were out and on the road most of the day, I knew that I would have to record what I ate, so I chose foods that would work. I even avoided the fries. :)

Diet Calendar Entry for 03 January 2013:
1887 kcal Fat: 63.47g | Prot: 73.27g | Carb: 262.14g.   Breakfast: yogurt, milk, frozen spinach, honey, frozen mixed berries, 7 Grain Hot Cereal. Lunch: tangerine, ham and cheese sandwich. Dinner: Chocolate Ice Cream, cooked baby carrots, Green Snap Beans (Solids and Liquids, Canned), Extra Long Grain Enriched Rice, Butter, Crunchy Fish Fillets. Snacks/Other: Jolly Rancher. more...

Try making your food plan the night before or in the morning. You can adjust what you eat and your calories accordingly and when you know what your allowed to eat for the day, it's easier to stick with your plan.
