B1Angel2017's Journal, 28 April 2019

I went off my diet and paid for it dearly, I gained 21 pounds and not pleased at all. Time for me to get back on track with diet and exercise. I need to get my blood sugars back to where they were and keep them there; no more loafing and thinking I have it well in hand when I know damn well I don't. Time to get serious and stay serious. I will get to my goal weight, it will just time and dedication on my part. I need to get healthy for myself, my husband and my family. Wish me luck.

good luck! it is great that you are not punishing yourself and are dedicated to doing things the healthy way and that you are okay with taking things slowly! I believe if you recognize that things have to change and slowly make daily but small manageable changes and keep to them it might take a while but you'll get to where you want to be!!! you are serious about your health and I wish you all the willpower and dedication and happy positive thoughts throughout your journey!!!

FROM YOUR CHEERING SECTION: Glad to hear your upbeat attitude, B1Angel2017! We are similar in state and stage of life, challenges, and goals. I was 285 lbs. to start and scared to *death* that 300 would be my "point of no return." I'm about "halfway home" but have been here before. We can be great support for each other! Best wishes and prayers from this "Amen Corner"!
