well after going to my Wifes Parents I was proud to have to have controled my eating. Normally, all rules out the window when we go there. Its like a Carb Buffet. But last night instead of Butter on Potatos, I added Salsa and a touch of BBQ. I only had one Rib, not 4. And Two Bites of Cherrie Pie, not .25 of the Pie. I have to say, I did well, and when I went home I felt good not all stuffed, this morning I woke up feeling great and think I even lost a couple points of fat. Lets do this! -- The Ribs Were Great by the way.

You know, you can always increase your protein intake. Those ribs still count as protein and if you are higher protein than carbohydrate in a meal then you're ahead. Good job not eating the whole pie. Personally, I have no issue with sweets because I cheat with sugar free strawberry Jell-O - which is a great fix for sweet without the excess sugars ;) Give that a whirl sometime. You could eat 10 of those and feel 400x less guilty than eating pie. lol
