Yesterday was at tired day (trouble sleeping), but I still got a lot done. I even cooked a great dinner: Spanish Chicken (using smoked paprika), Roasted Butternut Squash with Tart Cherries, brown rice, and broccoli. Did all the dishes & clean-up, too. :o)
Slept much better last night; increased dose of nerve pain medicine seems to be helping. Yay! I'm going to do great in Zumba today.
I think I'll bake some cookies; we plan on having hot chocolate and work on finishing Christmas decorating. A couple of cookies would be nice, too. Then I'll give the rest away; I love baking and sharing cookies with people.
Do you think homeless people/panhandlers would appreciate being handed a bag of home made cookies? I saw a guy hand some oranges to a guy looking for help at the end of the freeway offramp close to home. The panhandler guy was very appreciative. There are usually homeless people by Fred Meyer; I just may try spreading some holiday cheer.
My partner likes to do stuff like take a latte to people doing a tough job, like a flagger at a road construction site in cold weather, for instance. It's really fun to see the surprise and pleasure on someone's face; they'll think you're joking when youask then what they want from Starbucks, then you come back with their drink.... :oD
