I did it again last night. I went on a no sugar added ice cream jag. I am doing slightly better today. I put 3 good days together and on the 4th day, I effed up. So let's hope tonight is better and I can string more days together. I totally took the day off from exercise. I've been really pushing myself and I needed a day of almost total rest. I did walk the dog for 30 minutes, but that is it. Tomorrow I am going to try to run again. I have a lot of good and wonderful things in my life. I feel more and more grateful lately. I want to be a more positive person. I have felt really negative for a long time. There are things missing in my life - mainly satisfying career circumstances and a relationship. However, I am not going to let these things overwhelm me. It's hard for me to know what I can control and what I can't control. There are some things I need to let go of and stop trying to control. There are some things I need to have the courage to address to gain more control over. I have to start with having better control over myself. And for right now, that means continuing to try to stop the bingeing.
