First, let me say how delightful it was to go to Zumba at my regular gym again this morning! They redid the floor in the Group Exercise room and its gorgeous, and it was sweet to dance next to friends & be with people that were happy to see me! The instructor was full of energy and fun moves; great morning!

Cue the cloudburst, downpour, and wind whipping around fallen leaves....

I feel like it's my TOM and I haven't had one since last February; thought I was DONE with all that. I'm craving chocolate & have consumed too many granola bars, using up lots of calories. Last night I had popcorn AND the Haagen Dazs peppermint bark ice cream bar. Am I determined to push the limits of my RDI daily?

I have a party to go to this evening at an Acupuncturist's; last time I went there the caterer supplied amazing food and gourmet chocolates, uh oh. I'll have to wear my size 8 pants and new snug blouse; darn, those pants don't go with that blouse; my tightest skinny jeans will have to do. You know, so I can't fit much food in and to remind myself why not to overdo.

I'll try to keep moving and talking to people, burning calories instead of consuming too many. Hopefully there will be veggies to nibble on.

I did the same thing on Thanksgiving, wore the tightest pants so I would have to stop eating when I was full! LOL

Good party eats; honey lime shrimp, sweet potato chipotle rosemary quesadillas, quality meats, cheeses, crackers, grapes, grilled asparagus wrapped in prosciutto and puff pastry, crostini, and desserts. I exercised restraint, though I did eat a smallish piece of fudge with a mocha layer & a coconut layer (didn't care for the coconut part). Wines, beers, and my choice, Pellegrino. I had 3 shrimp, some smoky cheddar, three small quesadilla triangles (the cheese was like a good parmesan; maybe reggiano), some grapes, and a small water cracker. Very pleasant. The rest of my eating for the day pushed me over my RDI; must get this under control. I have my self compassion diet meditation cued up on my Ipod.
