On my way back home, tonight, I have been tempted by entering McD's to buy some chicken nuggets or a burger. It's the third weekend I feel like having junk fast food. I had an indulgence day last Sunday, had lots of food I am normally not allowed to eat, but cooked from scratch and healthy.
So, I have been able to resist McD's tonight because:
-that McD's diner is really bad. Last time I have been eating some stuff there, I was seriously disappointed by the strange flavours and how badly things were fried, cooked and presented.
-my liver: I want to delay as much as possible (or even avoid) diabetes.
So, is it worth it overloading my liver with some stuff I already know I wont be happy with? I answered NO!
Once back home, I had a cup of Pero/Caro fake coffe, few crackers and problem solved.
It is really though resisting all these temptations.
When I am in a supermarket it's the same "battle" between shiny packages of candy and chocolate and my willpower. Good thing is: in the past month I won 95% of the times ;)

Point is: sometimes I feel like eating something sweet, but right now my diet includes only veggies, meat, fish, cheese, eggs, rye bread, crackers. So: no fruit, no cakes, no sugar. I have eaten sesame butter at the beginning of this diet, but then realized its too fatty and its not good for my liver. Any suggestion?
