I'm pregnant. What a blessing! Those two words are quickly changing everything in my life. I'm curious how my healthy eating choices and diet will be impacted by this little life. So far, I know that I'm tired all the time and certain foods don't appeal, but mostly, I am always hungry. I know I can build in a couple hundred extra calories each day. I don't want to slide back into my weight-gain eating behaviors. And, I want to keep my body poised to slap back to it's current condition after this crazy journey ahead. Am I crazy? I guess I need to run some of this past the doc on Monday!

Diet Calendar Entry for 08 June 2010:
1718 kcal Fat: 47.07g | Prot: 106.97g | Carb: 233.46g.   Breakfast: chocolate protein powder, cinnamon, nonfat milk, psyllium. Lunch: lasagna, ranch, salad, berries, granola, organic blueberry lowfat yogurt. Dinner: Chocolate Chip Vitamuffins, Light String Cheese, Grapefruit (Pink and Red), Enchilada Soup. Snacks/Other: KNUDSEN SMPLY NUTRS MEGA GREEN JUICE, special K honey almond. more...

Congratulations. I'm sure you'll be able to find a balance between staying healthy and being pregnant. Just think about being that girl who loses all the baby weight right after having your child.
