Wyattj99's Journal, 12 October 2012

I had to slow down on my workouts at night cause my back is out. This isn't right, I even had to call off work cause it is hard to move on top of it coughing cause of a small cold hurts like hell.

I haven't lost any more weight in three weeks and kind of getting depressed but not stopping, still plugging in the food I eat and drink.

I'm not giving in just wondering why I can't seem to lose the lbs, my inches I have lost a couple nothing big!!!

Sorry to hear that your back is bothering you and I hope you are feeling good again soon. What do you mean that you haven't lost any more weight? I see a drop when I look at your weight chart and you have done well since you started. Your diet calendar looks better than mine right now :) I bet your clothes are fitting differently too. Glad to hear that you aren't giving up because you are showing progress and you will do this. By the way, I like the new profile pic. :)

I haven't put in my weight in almost two weeks cause it has been stuck! Arghh!!! but yes my clothes do feel better and look better and I know this is a life style change and to see significant change will be awhile. It will now be slow with the pain.

We all get discouraged when the scale doesn't seem to want to move in the right direction on a regular basis. Don't give up!! The scale will eventually move. Plateaus are the most difficult. Some times changing things around a little can help. Eat less calories--sometimes more calories. Change your exercise around. Since your back is out, you can still do some upper body exercises. If your arms exercise over the level of your heart you can still get your heart rate up. Exercising in a pool will help with back problems also (once you can move). Also, others have encourage me to measure myself because when the scale doesn't move, many times the inches are still falling off.
