Good morning, Fatsecret!

It's been a couple of days - my apologies! Friday, I really didn't intend to NOT weigh in, but every time I tried, the system wouldn't let me record the weight. After a few times, I quit.

I did good all Friday, though, and all was good. The weigh-in? I gained. Massively. Again. Even if I did good on my calories.

Yesterday was Indulgence Day. It was spent mostly on a good dinner, and I mostly stayed away from the sugars.

What's more interesting is, that I GOT ON MY EXERCISE BIKE! That's right. I got back on, and it felt really good. I did 25 minutes, not bad for a "beginner". I can tell that it's a lot harder on me than it used to be, but in that we also have to factor that I have upped the weight on it. It's a cheap bike, so the weights aren't as heavy as I'd like them to be - but now it's full on, heaviest setting. I'm honestly not sure if it changed, because it didn't feel like it was all THAT heavy. It can, of course, only be two things. Either I am stronger than I thought, or the bike is slowly breaking down because it's a cheap pile of junk. Still, I'll keep going, heaviest setting.

So, doing 25 minutes yesterday, my mission is to go 30 today. I really want to get back to a full hour, daily.

I also want to get into the exercise DVDs. I have two that I want to get going on. One being the Extreme Makeover DVD that I have done before. It's not very hard impacting, but it's a good little workthrough. It got me to 77 kgs first time around, and I know it can do it again.

The other one is Gillan's Yoga DVD. I got this recommended from one of my favorite buddies, and it looks good.

I tried it on for size yesterday, but I wasn't prepped well enough for it, for several reasons. The first being that I simply haven't watched it first. This means that I don't know what exercises I'll be doing, and it's kinda hard for me to both do them and watch and get everything co-ordinated at the same time. I suppose this is an issue for ANY exercise DVD the first few times, right?

The other reason is that our TV is broken. This means that I'll have to watch the DVD on my tablet, and the picture is only 10 inches. The tables obviously can't be within reach while I exercise, but will have to stand a little away. This makes the picture VERY small. It's probably okay if I know what I'm doing, but as a beginner, it complicates things.

The little I did, first 5 minutes or so, looked awesome though. It looks like it'll be good for apartment use, as there is no jumping around, and I could definitely tell that my muscles will get a butt-kicking. I think it very well migh be what I need. Also in concern with me stomach. I don't want to do anything that's gonna mess with my healing.

So, anyways, that's where I am today. Today is back to 1600 calories. It's doing good. It's doing right. It's exercising.

If weather permits it - which I think it won't - I will go try out my new REAL bike. It's out there waiting for me.

Today I'm thankful for:
- Being inspired to get moving on my exercise. Thanks, Sarah!
- Getting up early with Wife.
- Morning coffee.
- Sunday.
- One more week of work and it's VACATON TIME!

Have a nice Sunday, folks! Life is good!
