Two days ago we had a cold snap in Ontario. I was wearing my Roots jacket that my husband bought me two years ago for Christmas, and my son asked, "is that the roots coat." "Yup" I replied. "Hmmm I thought that didn't fit." he said. "Well it does now so I am going to wear it a lot." And then ..... "Mom, I am so proud and impressed, it is actually a little big. You are doing an amazing job." I just wanted to cry. Who says teenagers are awful? I can't get enough of mine.

Sweet! Good for you. And good for him for even noticing!
And I love mine (15) for the sweet things he says too. I can say that here, no one else know him so I'm not horribly embarrassing him. :-)

Oh my son is not concerned with embarrassment. If I drive him to school, he still kisses me on the cheek, says love ya ma, and gets out of the car. He even lets me be his friend on facebook. Also, since I started this way of life, he has researched recipes and cooked meals for me
