Eringiffin's Journal, 13 September 2012

Whew! What a hectic morning. I am finally catching my breath to submit my journal for the day. I went to the gym last night for the first time. I decided to bit the bullet and sign up, especially since it is month to month and not a year long contract. The place is very cozy and personal and just about everyone there was my build and age or higher. Woot! While I can't say it was "fun" I can already feel the results and I am loving that. I go again tonight for the official weight test to set a baseline for the amount of weight I will lift.

I might have overdone it on the treadmill because last night I had the most persistent, intense leg cramps. Ouch! I found out the fee for the gym is per household, not per person so the DH is thinking of joining me, yay!

Speaking of the DH, I know I have said it before, but I will say it again. That man is awesome! I am so very thankful to have him in my life. We had a bout of family drama (on my side of the family) last night and he definitely took the high road.

I am just bursting at the seams with thankfulness for so many things. I wish I could put some of this happiness in a bottle and store it up for a bad day. Yes, I am one of those annoyingly perky people today. :)

The scale was in agreement for last night's extra calorie burn as well. I am loving it.
