I am so proud that I could survive Halloween, skipping candy until the actual day and thereafter but counting it and not going over my allotted WW points since Wed. I lost two pounds, almost, since the last weigh in. My clothes really are hanging. Funny thing is that I was afraid to get on the scale because of the 'guilt" of eating candy. I figured I would be punished, but working it in and being more careful about what I ate throughout the day really did the trick. If I had to skip all candy for Halloween I would have felt deprived, and feeling deprived is what makes you give up on an eating plan.
Now, if I could only push myself to exercise more.
206.2 lb Lost so far: 34.8 lb.    Still to go: 58.2 lb.    Diet followed 100%.
losing 2.1 lb a week

I wish people could get past this “guilt” thing. It is a terrible mindset and puts that thought of you being a “bad” person for having a fun sized piece of candy. It is the thought process that needs to change as much as the food choices. Good luck.

Aren't we our own worst critics though? Wanting to punish ourselves for periodic breathers and missteps?
