Week three on Medifast. I'm good, it's been a steady decline in weight. I can do this! Going to start exercising this week. Eating on the weekends still a slight challenge. Here's the thing... do I get up like I do during the work week and eat breakfast and then go back to bed to sleep in or do I just skip breakfast and start at snack or lunch depending when I get up....I guess I should get up eat breakfast, workout and start my day.... maybe.. we will see this weekend...

You must eat breakfast and my health coach says it is imperative that you eat within 30 minutes of waking up to get your metabolism revved up right away. I am usually up at 6am during week. I have slept in until 10am on weekends and eat at 10pm, 12pm, 2, big meal at 4-5, 7pm and 10pm. I believe that it is definitely a good idea to eat not long before bed. I think it helps keep the metabolism going as your falling asleep.

I understood it as eat within a hour of waking up, and then every two hours and seeing that all the meals are interchangeable (not counting the green) as long as you fuel your body you'll be ok. I do try to have something before I go to bed, usually it is some water or coffee. My downfall right now is letting go of my coffee creamer.... lol
